Greetings!
It's Tuesday night, and here's the playlist for the September 9th,
2003 edition of The Underground Alarm Clock. Along with this week's
tunes, I'm going to do my best to fill you in on all the other show-related
news that you need to know. Now that I've learned how to post all
this invaluable info online for everyone to read, I'm going to be
updating this page as often as 5 times a week!! My good pal Branden

This week's show went down very well despite a few shady mixes because I got
caught on the phone a few times. That's a good thing, though, because that means
that you are digging the tunes that I'm dropping. Big ups to Andrea, Kai, Ronnie

NEW RECORD STORE IN NASHVILLE FOR UPFRONT DANCE MUSIC FOR
DJs - It's called Spun Records, and it's located 207-B Louise
Ave., which is right across from Cafe Coco behind T.G.I.Friday's.
It's recently been taken over my Tim Buchanan, who is a long-time
listener of the Underground Alarm Clock. Spun Records will be bringing
in a steady stream of upfront, underground dance music for Nashville's
vinyl buying community. Along with the backstock in the store, they'll
have the new release list posted in the store each week for you to
look through & order from. You'll get to see the lists direct from
the distributors each week!! How much more current can you get?!?!
There's a listening station set up for you to try-before-you-buy with
new releases coming in on a regular basis. Of course, they are starting
out small, but with your help, they will be able to grow more & more
each week. Along with the new vinyl section, you'll find lots of used

MINDUB FEATURED AT WWW.DJAXELMIX.COM - While in Florida
this past weekend, I met DJ Axel at Hyde Park Cafe on Friday night.
Axel is a very talented DJ/producer, and his site is chock-full of
amazing electronic sounds. After hearing "Session 2" of the Underground
Alarm Clock Series, he immediately added it to his site for everyone
out there to listen to!! Thanks, Axel! Go check out all the various
mixes while you're working online. You'll be glad you did. I recommend

AUDITY CENTRAL GIVEN PROPS IN SEPTEMBER'S ISSUE OF URB MAGAZINE
- Last month, Urb Magazine, one of the U.S.' hottest dance
magazines, covered the top 10 colleges & music scenes. Surprisingly,
Nashville is named as one with its many colleges with broadcasting/music-related
opportunities. The articles mentions WRVU 91.1, and as for the scene,
it names Audity Central as the hottest night in town!!! Pick up a
copy & see for yourself. It's in the September 2002 issue with The
